Processed all surplus to requirement ammunition in required time
During the draw down of the UK armed forces in Afghanistan it was decided by the Ministry of Defence to destroy the small arms ammunition that was shelf life expired, damaged or surplus to requirements.
TrADS 40 was installed into Camp Bastion to destroy all the obsolete and time expired ammunition so that it would not require expensive specialist transport back to the UK.
We employed and trained local labour to undertake this task from the specialist suppliers of labour for Camp Bastion.
